Hello wonderful choristers,
Here are the timings for our spring concert on Sunday, May 3rd.
EnChor arrival: 1:00 pm for set-up, warm-up and sound check
Combined song run-throughs: 1:30 pm
HBHC sound check: 1:50 pm
Brass sound check: 2:10 pm
Doors open: 2:30 pm
Concert start: 3 pm
I know this is an early arrival for our choir! We will use the first 30 minutes to set-up our space, warm-up, sing through with Ryan the soloist, and do a few spot checks of our own songs. The boys will join us to magically sing through “I’d Like to Teach.” At 1:50 we will leave the space to the other groups. Our singers will take a break, help with volunteer jobs, review music, etc… At 2:30 we will gather in the “green” room, sing a little, and make our way into the choir pews around 1:50.
For our new choristers, we stay up on the stage for the whole concert! It saves time and allows for smoother transitions between groups.
With the 3 groups performing I expect our concert will be about 90 minutes. No intermission.
